I just love fall photos, and Antioch Park is such a gorgeous place to shoot. I had such a nice afternoon with Stephanie & Nate in this park. It's right behind their house, and they take walks there all the time, so yeah I'm jealous, lol! I hope they enjoy viewing them as much as I did making them :)
It was COLD, God bless these two because it was brutal. But you would never know it by their energy. Even though it was biting, the light was lovely. The pictures on the stairs are my favorite in this group! -Kenzi
Katie & Todd chose the Plaza and surrounding areas for their engagement photos, and the fall leaves made a great background for this gorgeous couple!
It was super cold that day, but we had a great time anyway. Dustin and Emily were funny and playfully jabbed at each other and me! We laughed more than we shot, but I think they look just adorable! Underpasses make great backgrounds, but the wind is enough to chill right to the bone. It was great to have a couple that was laid back and easy to work with, even with the cold against us!

Dawn and Mike James were married on May 30, 2009 and everything went perfect. BUT, the lighting at the time their portraits had to be done wasn't the most complimentary, so we arranged to do some more Bride and Groom portraits at a later date for the album :)
Well today was that later date, and I had a blast shooting with these two. One of the other Belles shot their actual wedding, so it was a real treat for me to get to work with them personally and shoot the pick ups! We went to the Plaza, because as any good Kansas Citian would, they wanted the fountain shots. I also took them to the KC Star building downtown, and took some shots I thought of a few weeks ago, but I saved for this shoot :) Dawn was a good sport, and I'm glad because I absolutely LOVE the ones of her sitting on the ledge! They really wanted some great portraits, specifically something to put up in their house, and I think we got what they wanted :)
